General Info: Skyland Grain began in 2004 with the merger of the Johnson Cooperative Grain and ADM Grain. Headquartered in Johnson, Kan., the company operates several grain elevators in Big Bow, Johnson City, Manter and Saunders in Kansas, with over 12 million bushels of grain storage. Additionally, it has a full-service agronomy division that provides bulk liquid, dry and anhydrous ammonia fertilizers. The department also offers chemicals and seeds and provides custom application of the fertilizer and chemicals. The company offers a complete line of fuels and other petroleum-based products. Skyland Grain employs more than 50 employees to handle farm supply needs and services.
