1.) The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Release First Official Portraits of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. And They Are Absolutely Adorable.
Kensington Palace has released the official portraits of Prince George and his baby sister, Princess Charlotte. The ridiculously cute pictures were uploaded to the official social media accounts of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this past week. President Obama delivered an emotionally powerful eulogy this past Saturday at Beau Biden’s funeral, CNN reports. Beau is the son of Vice-President Joe Biden, the former Delaware State Attorney General, and an Iraq War veteran. He passed away a week ago from complications due to Brain Cancer at the age of only 46. “Beau Biden was an original. He was a good man, a man of character, a man who loved deeply and was loved in return,” Obama said.
The President’s comments, while memorializing Beau Biden, were an extraordinary show of love and respect for his vice president from a man who is more known for keeping his emotions contained than revealing them in public. “Joe, you are my brother, and I am grateful every day you have got such a big heart, and a big soul, and those broad shoulders. I could not admire you more,” Obama said, looking directly at the vice president. At the conclusion of the eulogy, Obama stepped down from the pulpit, and folded Biden in his arms, placing a kiss on his vice president’s cheek.
