Valued At $100,000, Contents Of This Year's Extravagant Oscars Gift Bag Are Revealed

Not everyone walked away a winner, even though there was initially a different winner for best picture last night.

Still, the 25 nominated actors and directors will carry home the fanciest swag bag worth over six figures. So La La Land, you still win!

The 2017 "Everyone Wins" gift bag is not affiliated with the Academy Awards. It was a concept that Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary came up with 15 years ago when he heard Bette Midler fretted over walking away from a ceremony empty handed.

Fary said, "I thought we should do something for the folks who lose. We started gifting those in the top five categories so that even if they didn't go home with the gold statue that Sunday night, they would have some fun swag to console themselves with."

The contents of this year's bag range from everyday products to luxurious getaways that are eligible for taxation should the recipients redeem them.

Emma Stone, Denzel Washington, Viola Davis, Casey Affleck, and other fellow nominees this year will rummage through their stash to find items like fancy chapstick, and trips to Sorrento, Italy.

Take a look at what was inside the coveted swag bag from the 2017 Oscars.
