Trans Man And Woman Take Down North Carolina's Anti-LGBT Bill In Two Single Tweets

COMMENTS
This past week, the Republicans in North Carolina's state government passed into law a bill that has been nationally seen as viciously anti-LGBT. In essence, the bill, passed at the state level, denies local North Carolina governments from passing any laws that would benefit or protect LGBT people. Additionally, the law forces trans people to use public restrooms according to their gender at birth. Trans North Carolina's Republican governor took to social media to defend the bill, tweeting:
Ordinance defied common sense, allowing men to use women’s bathroom/locker room for instance. That’s why I signed bipartisan bill to stop it.
Trans man James P. Sheffield took offense to this comment, and, instead of attacking the governor or screaming, responded with a simple tweet that will surely upset Governor McCrory: Trans Whoops! Look what you've done, Mr. McCrory. Hope your wife won't mind this female-born trans individual walking into the woman's room. But, just in case Governor McCrory doesn't care about his wife's restroom comfort, Twitter user Princess Dracat added some salt to the wound. Trans Where we come from, we call that a Zing! The law and its passing are very upsetting and unfortunate. At least we have this egg-on-face moment to savor as the LGBT movement and its supporters regroup and begin to fight back.
