RuPaul's Drag Race Stars Are Speaking Out Against Wendy Williams, Here's Why

COMMENTS

The show RuPaul's Drag Race has aired on Logo TV network for eight regular seasons, and two all-star seasons. To say that the fans of the show are passionate is a little bit of an understatement. For season 9, the show moved from Logo to VH1. Along with that move came a few other controversial changes.

Like Wendy Williams hosting the pre-show.

Williams has been accused of casual homophobia and transphobia by several sources in the past. The shows contestants and fan-base are predominantly members of the LGBTQIA community, so Wendy seems like a poor fit to many.
