Lady Gaga's Super Bowl performance continues to gin up conversation and controversy days after it aired.
Some ultra conservative Christians assailed the performance for being satanic in its origins. More liberal folks complained that the pop star had not been political enough when she had the eyes and ears of the entire country.
And then there was another "controversy" that began to draw attention.
Some people began to buzz that pop star Pink might take issue with Gaga's performance because it involved a good deal of flying and aerial work at the beginning. Flying and flipping tends to be something that Pink is known for, to the point where it's essentially become her trademark.
Many might say that this was never a controversy to begin with. Pink does not own the art of flight in concert. Yes, it is something she is known for, but that hardly makes it something that she can claim as her own.
Still, the buzz did grow as more and more people attempted to elevate this potential feud to a public status.
Fortunately for all involved, as soon as Pink caught wind of the story, she issued her own public statement, via her Instagram.

For the record: Let's squash this before it even has a chance to be a thing.... Lady Gaga killed it yesterday. Her voice was powerful and beautiful, her outfits were on point, choreography stellar, her heart was in it and she sang about love and inclusiveness, all in front of millions and millions of people. Let's celebrate a woman who has the guts to jump off a roof and stand up there in the first place.
Who cares if I flew first? Cause I didn't! Cirque and Peter Pan been in the air for years!
Now can we get back to the real controversy? The one where our so called leader is stripping our humanity away minute by minute...
Pink added the hashtags #womensupportingwomen #happymonday and #letsnotgetdistracted to her post.
Lady Gaga has not issued a response yet, but the post has received over 168,000 likes and over 6,640 comments.
