A London car impaled an innocent crowd prompting one man to take to Twitter to call out gun control bias, but the argument did not end well for him.
A crash outside a London museum that injured 11 people was not terror-related, police have said.
Video footage has emerged on Twitter showing a man, believed to be the driver of a black Toyota Prius that plunged into a crowd of people outside the Natural History Museum in Exhibition Road, South Kensington being restrained.
In the immediate aftermath one Twitter user used the incident to mock gun control advocates.
Another car drives into crowd in London - liberals to call for car control?— Carl DeMaio (@carldemaio) October 7, 2017
One such advocate wasted no time in clapping back.
Well played, a literary match point. This sparked an inevitable debate.
Next you'll be suggesting people should take lessons to learn to use cars safely.— Mark Rendle ❄ (@markrendle) October 7, 2017
Just imagine what law enforcement could accomplish if every car &truck had license plate...they might actually be able2 track down criminals— Ex-GOP MaryM500 (@MaryM500) October 7, 2017
Every gun purchase should require liability insurance. I would vote for that. More power to inflict damage = much higher premiums.— Philip Perdue (@PhilipPerdue) October 7, 2017
I mean...is this even the time to talk about car controls? We wouldn't want to politcize a tragedy. 🙄— Mich (@Mich_Fowler) October 7, 2017
If someone can't tell the difference between a car and a gun then they shouldn't be allowed either.— Colin Mackay (@colinmackay89) October 7, 2017
Tell him how you really feel.

Guns have one objective: kill. Cars have more than one objective. Clever, little fella, but your argument is ridiculous.— sheri (@SheriisLivid) October 7, 2017
The Metropolitan Police have stated that the incident was a "road traffic collision" and the driver, has been arrested and received medical treatment before being taken to a north London police station for questioning.
Authorities said none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
So, if Mr. DeMaio really wants to make a difference maybe he should find himself fully informed before he chooses his moments.
Lesson learned, never take a car to a gunfight.
