Gary's Got a New Home!
Carrie Fisher has given us a lifetime of vibrant characters through both her acting and her writing. Lately, she's gifted us with one of the best characters yet. Gary, her french bulldog, and his famously-floppy tongue have been making waves on social media and in public appearances for some time. He's walked red carpets, done comic conventions, talk shows and even book signings with Carrie. At only four years old, Gary has already become something of a celebrity.
He's Got The Celeb Shades To Prove It
Gary, who Fisher adopted as a service pet to help with her bipolar disorder, is well known to be incredibly devoted to Carrie. He was at her side when her heart stopped aboard her plane and even visited her at the UCLA medical center. When she passed away, there was some concern about who would take care of her beloved buddy.
Can They Be #SquadGoals When There Are Only Two? With Personalities This Big, We Vote Yes.
Billie is no stranger to caring for dogs, particularly frenchies. She has one of her own named Tina, who just so happens to be Gary's best friend! Hopefully, this transition of households will be that much easier for everyone involved. Billie could likely use the extra snuggles right now as she lost her mother and then grandmother the very next day.
Our hearts go out to Billie and Gary and the rest of the family, friends and fans.
