Beyoncé surprised a dance troupe by crashing their performance and visiting them backstage.
It was surely a night to remember!
The expectant 35-year-old Queen of Pop attended a performance by the Alvin Ailey dance company in LA in support of the mentorship group - Tina's Angels - founded by Tina Knowles, Bey's mother.
For the Ailey dancers, hearing Beyoncé giving them major props on their performance made their night. One performer was brought to his knees, as one would in the presence of a queen.
The moment was captured on film as Bey made her way backstage. After processing who their visitor was, you can see their jubilant reactions. It's priceless.
Lawson posted the group photo with Tina's Angels on the Alvin Ailey stage on Instagram and captioned it with, "The Alvin Ailey dancers were spectacular!!" and "Backstage after the Alvin Ailey dancers performance it was magnificent. With my beautiful Tina's Angels and with a few of the mentors. My very gracious daughter who met the girls and spent some time with them and made their day!"
Lawson, 63, reposted video of her with her Angels who were just as thrilled meeting the Ailey dancers, captioned with, "Back stage after the Alvin Ailey Show with my beautiful Angels."
Watch the video of the Ailey dancers reacting to the biggest surprise of their lives and a moment that could be the pinnacle of their careers.
The exuberance was shared both ways as Lawson praised, "The Alvin Ailey Dancers are the most beautiful and Talented and gracious Human Beings. I was honored to meet them and they were so nice and patient to my girls!!!”
