A single mother living in South Carolina saw her Facebook message go viral.

She says she never expected it.

Christina Knaack, who lives in Gaffney, South Carolina, says the response stunned her. "It's pretty crazy," she told reporters. "I was just sharing a milestone with my friends and family."

On Wednesday, Knaack, who makes minimum wage supporting her two children, ages 2 and 4 months, shared a photo of a receipt for $5,400 she spent on rent for the remainder of 2017.

"Instead of buying my kids the latest Jordans or fancy electronics I paid my rent for the YEAR. I'm a single mom and I do it all buy [sic] myself on a minimum wage job. I kno [sic] that a roof over my kids head is what's important." Knaack wrote.

Knaack's post took Facebook by storm; as of this writing, it has received more than 214,000 reactions, nearly 94,000 shares, and close to 27,000 comments, like this one:

Knaack says she plans to use the money she would otherwise have spent on rent to do things with her family.

We here at The Daily Buzz are certain her children will cherish these memories.
