The mighty mogul of cable has fallen.
On Wednesday, Fox News forced Bill O'Reilly's reign as top-rated host of cable news to come to an end after internal investigations unearthed more sexual harassment allegations against him.
Almost immediately, the #BillOReillyIsFiredParty festivities erupted on Black Twitter.
On April 1, The New York Times reported that Fox News and parent company 21st Century Fox reached a settlement with five women who came forward as alleged victims of Bill's inappropriate workplace conduct to the tune of 13 million dollars.
And why is the African-American community particularly excited to see the reigning news host get the boot? Well, O'Reilly is notorious for hurling numerous racial rants.
Recently in March during the morning show Fox and Friends, O'Reilly said he didn't hear a word that Congresswoman Maxine Waters was saying in a video clip because he was too distracted by her hair looking like "a James Brown wig."
So it was only fitting for one user to adorn O'Reilly with the wig that the host is all too familiar with.
