Leah Remini has shone a hard spotlight on Scientology lately with her show on A&E. Scientology and the Aftermath is designed to give a voice to former church members and victims of the church of Scientology. As a general rule, taking on the church of Scientology is thought to be difficult and maybe not the best move for ones career in Hollywood.
Well This Ought To Be An Interesting Fight.
She's not the first to take a more intense look at the church. In 2012, the film The Master borrowed from Scientology to explore the world of "The Cause." Joaquin Phoenix and Phillip Seymour Hoffman play a man and the charismatic religious leader he devotes himself to.
