As of 2015, Jackson’s Lemon Jumble cookies are no longer manufactured commercially or offered for sale. Since 2001, Kellogg has held the business after purchasing the cookie line from Keebler. The southern favourite was discontinued soon after Kellogg acquired the business.
Jackson’s Old Fashioned Lemon Jumbles, sometimes known as “jumbos” by aficionados, were butter crisps that were mildly sweetened and naturally lemon-flavored. The mid-1980s saw a rise in popularity for the cookies. Although supporters of the original cookie have written to Kellogg requesting their return, there are currently no plans to do so.
