As of 2015, Dothan, Alabama is home to three street gangs. The All Profits Gang (APG) resides in Montgomery, Alabama. The national street gangs Crips and Bloods, as well as The Almighty Latin King and Queen Nation, have a substantial presence in Alabama.
The New Breed Boys hail from the east side of Dothan. The Bottom Boys from the west side of town are its rival gang. The Goon Squad was formed after a territorial dispute between members of the Bottom Boys.

East Side Long Beach Rollin 20s, West Side Rollin 40s, West Side Rollin 50s, and West Side Rollin 60s are divisions of the Crips in California. Hit Squad Brim, Fruit Town Brim, Harvard Park Brim, Van Ness Gangster Brim, and Fruit Town Piru are all subdivisions of the Bloods in Alabama. Multiple chapters of the street motorcycle gang Devils Diciples, which founded in Fontana, California, may be found throughout Alabama.
