Typically, a $5 charge was incurred and then quickly returned to validate the card. If so, the hackers used the card to make transactions from trustworthy businesses. On occasion, hackers would begin with a pricier charge from FRG TeamFanShop and work their way up. Eventually, victims of credit fraud would be losing hundreds of dollars due to the deception.
Sometimes, Fanatics.com is affiliated with FRG TeamFanShop. The former is a reputable store of fully licenced sports gear.
