When choosing a comfortable home on the wheels, a motorist has three main options: a camper, a trailer, and a bus-house. Depending on the needs and driving skills of the buyer, each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. To decide which of the options to select, you need to carefully consider them.
However, before to buy you have to be sure that your motorhome has a clear history, especially if you purchase a being-in-use vehicle. To do that, make a trailer VIN check or ask the seller to do it for you.
#1. Auto-Camper
A camper is usually a small van, pickup truck or other car for traveling. During overnight stays it needs to be configured: to raise the roof and to make a bed. It is often converted from ordinary cars and is sometimes offered by manufacturers.

- it requires less fuel;
- it does not need additional categories of rights.
Auto camper is suitable for those who do not require comfort but seeks for impressions. Nevertheless, not everyone likes living like this: the space is limited, and little luggage can be taken.

- There are models for different numbers of people and size;

The trailer has its disadvantages as well:
- The recommended speed is not exceeding 70 km / h;
- The increased fuel consumption of the car;
- It is not allowed to transport people inside.
However, some disadvantages can be compensated by purchasing a larger trailer. This option will allow you to fully equip it.
#3. Bus-House
2-7 people can be accommodated in the motorhome with bigger comfort than in a trailer. The most popular in Europe are Fiat motorhomes. They are acceptable in price and quality.
In general, when buying a motorhome, you need to be careful as if you are buying an apartment. A shower with warm water, a toilet, a comfortable sleeping area with a French bed, a kitchen and a dining room should be there.
It is also worth paying attention to the weight of the transport. Indeed, if it weighs over 3.5 tons, then the category “B” is not enough.
In this case, it’s worthwhile either to choose a lighter transport or go to a driving school.
