General Info: The MayPort Farmers Co-op came into existence in 1994, with the consolidation of the Portland Junction Grain Company, Farmers Co-op Elevator Company of Mayville and Portland Farmers Co-op. The three original co-ops had served their patrons since the early 1900s. The consolidation of three viable companies provides a strong financial base and a sizable market area for stability and growth. MayPort Farmers Co-op has 26 full- and part-time employees in two divisions: the edible bean division and grain division. The Co-op is headquartered in Portland, N.D.
