There may be a number of reasons why you would like to visit the continent of Europe. You might have heard great stories from people you know about time spent there, have ancestors who come from a country within the continent, or simply want to explore more of the world. Romance in Italy
While you may be able to enjoy a romantic vacation in many parts of the country, many people might view Venice as the ideal destination. Set on water, this could be the backdrop for a number of great photographs, or even a loving proposal. However, you might not want to spend all of your time within the city limits. Instead, you could take a day trip from Venice to some of the towns or surrounding area, allowing you to experience more that the country has to offer. Some trips might also allow you to see some of the smaller islands dotted around the city, only accessible by water, that may contain not only glimpses into life in the area, but also historic monuments such as the Cathedral of Torcello.
Socialize in Ireland
A visit to Ireland could be good for those who want to travel to an English-speaking country, and spend time getting to know some of the people there. You may find that there are some great experiences to be had in Europe, and a visit to the Guinness factory, or even some of the whiskey houses and museums, could be especially fun for adult groups. In addition to this, you may also notice that the Irish people, as a whole, are quite friendly and sociable. This could allow you to make friends with some of the locals in the bars, buy each other rounds of drinks, and find out more about what it is like to live there. For some, this could lead to long-term friendships and more visits in the future. A trip to Ireland may also be one of the best birthday experiences for a friend or family member who loves Celtic culture or would like to learn more about it.
History in Poland
Although there are a number of beautiful landscapes and attractions that could draw you to Poland, you might also want to think about some important parts of history that occurred here. Many people across the world might have had relatives who fought, and even died, in World War Two. Poland houses Auschwitz, one of the most notorious concentration camps used to murder millions of Jewish people. A visit here could allow you to pay your respects to those who lost their lives here, and even come to appreciate the freedom you have within your own life a lot more. This excursion may be better suited to adults, or mature children, as you should be respectful and fairly quiet when traversing the ruins.
There are a number of things to do throughout Europe that can make it difficult to pick a single country. Due to this, you might want to think about an extended trip where you spend a few days in a number of locations, so that you can see as much as possible.
