It featured the biggest names in electronic dance music (EDM), including American DJ and music producer Elephante, Dutch DJ and record producer duo W&W, and English electronic music group Above & Beyond.

Last year, the crowd danced to live music from Canadian EDM duo Zed’s Dead and American music producer NGHTMRE. America’s Best DJ of 2013 Kaskade also performed at the festival last year.

Live Nation and Canadian entertainment events organization Blueprint partnered to organize the event. This year’s EDM festival is also brought to you by RBCxMusic, Absolut Vodka, Monster Energy, Bud Light Seltzer, and Peller Family Reserve.

If Chasing Summer is not enough to quench your thirst for live music, you can attend other upcoming events in Alberta.

If you enjoy folk music, you can buy tickets for Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival, the country’s longest-running Canadian Content festival. On June 17–18, 2022, the event will take place at the Four Seasons Park in Beaumont.

The Badlands Music Festival is also right around the corner. The celebration will run for 11 days, from July 7 to 17, 2022, at Knoxville’s Tent in Calgary.

The festival will feature star-studded acts, including popular electronic DJ and production duo The Chainsmokers.

The Shady Grove Bluegrass Music Festival is also celebrating its 31st anniversary in Sundre, Calgary. It will start on June 15, 2022 and end on June 17, 2022.

It will feature Juno-nominated and Grammy-nominated artists, including The Special Consensus, Blue Canyon Boys, and The Andrew Collins Trio.
