Many actors, writers and laureates have been given honorary degrees from colleges all over the world. It is an esteemed privilege that many cherish. Oprah has like 20. The honor is normally accompanied with a speech about the high lows of a successful life to the school's graduating class.

On British TV host Graham Norton's show one recent honoree, ex-SNL alum and movie star Will Ferrell discussed his decision to forgo the talks about mortgages, 401Ks and self love and instead chose to celebrate the moment by serenading the audience with a bold rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."

Sing it Will! Sing it!

Though his initial intention was to torture the audience it seems Will's bold choice took off in a different direction. The audience was cheering! It was like Whitney came back to us.

Ok maybe that is a little overboard but he was received  warmly.

Looks like Broadway maybe calling Will!
