Science and evolution can be very strange and mysterious things. Especially when it comes to the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Why did the T-Rex have such short, stubby arms? It's a good question to ask. It's also a question that has gone unanswered since the dawn of archaeology.
And while we still do not have the answer, YouTube channel MinuteEarth takes three minutes to give us a collection of the current theories and possibilities in regards to this question.
And they do it with cute cartoon-y illustrations, too!
There are many, many hypotheses currently floating around in regards to the T-Rex's tiny arms.
For example, perhaps they were larger, and the T-Rex evolved to have shorter arms because they did not need to be long?
Or, maybe, they were just a random evolution because having short arms was neither a negative nor a positive?
