Tomi Lahren Admits She Benefits From Obamacare In Debate With Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler and conservative pundit Tomi Lahren had their highly publicized one-on-one sit down at Politicon on Saturday...

...and when the two faced off over the Affordable Care Act, Lahren admitted that she benefits from the law, which Senate Republicans failed to repeal last week.

"I believe it's my right to purchase health care, I don't believe it's my right to pay for it for other people," Lahren told Handler. "We need to find alternatives — what we have now is not working. What we had before Obamacare wasn't working."

"Do you have a health care plan or no?" Handler asked Lahren.

"Well luckily, I'm 24, so I am still on my parents' [plan]" Lahren replied. Lahren has repeatedly railed against the health care law.

Handler defended Lahren for the comment after the audience began laughing and cheering. "Stop, she is being honest," Handler said.

Many others on social media quickly took Lahren to task for her comments. Lahren still found time to criticize the ACA during the sit down, telling Handler that Obamacare is in a “death spiral.”

A week before her sit down with Handler, Lahren made headlines after she listed her specialty as "melting snowflakes"––the term she's often employed to refer to "whiny" liberals––during an appearance on Fox News Specialists.

During the same appearance, she previewed her upcoming sit down with Handler. Lahren said she looked forward to dissecting Handler's disdain for President Trump.

"I find most liberals, they don't quite know why [they hate Trump], especially in Hollywood, they don't quite know why they hate President Trump so much. They just do," Lahren said at the time. "I want to know why."
