This Skull Has Been Hacked To Speak Using Alexa's Voice

Alas, poor Yorick. We knew him well. But not quite like this.

YouTube user ViennaMike has been working on a little robotics project that he codenamed Project Yorick.

To call it the stuff that nightmares are made of would be a disrespectful understudy.

The man was able to hack an Amazon Echo and an animatronic skull together. The result? A skull that answers your questions and puts the fear of the end of days deep within your heart.

There is no doubt in our minds that this is an impressive technological feat. ViennaMike should be very proud of this accomplishment.

But there is also no denying that hearing Alexa's sweet voice coming out of a chattering, googly-eyed skull is not an experience that many folks would like to have.

Mike does not explain how he pulled off this tech hack. Perhaps you can ask him. Sweet dreams, kids.
