With "Beauty and the Beast" making its way back to theaters in a live-action remake, YouTube show Earthling Cinema has decided to take a look at the original animated film.

The detailed analysis reveals an ending that's far sadder than many may have originally considered.

Beauty and the Beast seems to be a film that advocates for "not judging a book by its cover," as the protagonist, Belle, does in the literal beginning of the film. Judging a book by its cover is what the prince erroneously does to earn his punishment, too.

So, Disney is teaching us that we should look deeper to determine the worth of a human being, right? Well, not really.
