Pink Can't Handle Meeting Her Celebrity Crush

Pink Can't Handle Meeting Her Celebrity Crush

Pink, excuse me...I mean P¡nk...contrary to her electric, ever-changing hair, passionate, belted pop songs, and dangerously dangling Billboard Music Awards performances, always portrays a public sense of cool, calm, and collectedness. That is until Jimmy Kimmel managed to embarrass her on national television.

In true Jimmy Kimmel fashion, the late night host was able to get all the details about Pink's celebrity crush, Johnny Depp:
Him and Michael Keaton. Beetlejuice gets me every time.
She went on to explain her nightmare encounter with Depp in the record store:
I didn't want to meet him. My husband made me meet him, which was so dumb. I was hiding behind records in a record store and I was like, 'Don't do this. I don't want to meet him.'
She described the experience as unsuccessful as she tried to start a friendly conversation about Depp's upcoming film, Alice Through The Looking Glass. Depp thought she was referring to rock star Alice Cooper, and the conversation apparently went downhill from there says Pink:
I don't think it went well. I don't feel like I nailed it.
Then, in even truer Jimmy Kimmel fashion,   Johnny Depp took a casual stroll onto the set to surprise the pop star as she gushed about her celebrity crush. Noticeably flustered, Pink avoided Depp's face and adorably struggled to come up with words to say. At that moment, she was all of us in our middle school lunch line as our teenage heartthrob got in line right behind us. As her face turned the color of her hair, Depp exchanged kisses with both Pink and Kimmel (who also blushed a bit). "Go away. That was awful," she said after Depp had made his exit. "That sucks. I hate you," she directed towards the audience. "I hate you," she pointed at Kimmel:
This is the worst day ever.
Though it might have been a bad day for Pink, it was an endearingly enjoyable clip for everyone watching.
