Finally there is proof! We now know: who would actually win in the race of an overzealous hare and methodical tortoise. Aesop would be proud.

The Tortoise and The Hare, one of the most universally well known and acclaimed fables has just played out in real time and the world watched on the edge of it's seat.

The ancient tale of trusting in one's own strength and journey while refusing to be deterred by the adversity of the outside world has proven it's just as relevant today as it was centuries ago.

The year old video is visual proof that with a bit of cunning and solid willpower one will always beat an over-reliance on raw talent.

Once the video went viral it sparked the kind of excitement not even Tony Robbins could muster. In this time of uncertainty the human race needed this pick me up.

It seems that the Ancient Greek philosopher and your grandparents and parents were right all along. Take a deep breath, "slow and steady wins the race." In a world of uppity hares, #bethetortoise

But also learn the lesson from the hare, arrogance is NOT confidence, and be smart never take your opponent for granted. In truth, if we listed all the lessons from this story it would be longer that Stephen King's 'IT.'

Now that this story has been sorted out maybe we can answer the next big question.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?
