The decision to ban transgender people from joining the military was made official on Wednesday. Trump cited the exorbitant medical costs as the reason for the recently announced policy.
However, @ParkerMolloy on Twitter pointed out that Trump's fact didn't hold up.
Molloy, a writer at Upworthy, compared the cost of trans medical care in the military with the cost of treatment for erectile dysfunction.
Turns out that the U.S. Department of Defense's health plan prescribes Viagra, but less than 10% of documented prescriptions went to the troops. The rest went to retirees and family members under the health plan.
Twitter grew stiff with rage over the new policy blaming medical costs to ban transgender people from serving in the military.
God forbid the allocating of funds affects his lifestyle.
