Links Reveal Similar Publishing Styles
Facebook can be a hyper-sensitive stew ready to explode. You might have friends and relatives all adding ingredients to the political mixture that is your Facebook timeline. Once enough inaccurate articles and links are shared, the stew is complete, and you eventually log off social media, feeling worse for the world.

Friends and family on both sides of the political track will usually share news articles that highlight their views. Liberal or Conservative, each piece speaks to the viewpoints of the person sharing them online. They value that the person who wrote each article represents their Liberal or Conservative viewpoints.
But, what if opposing articles were written by the same person? The same company?
Liberal Society and Conservative 101 are both hyperpartisan news sites dedicated to bringing you over the top, clickbait news to share. Each is structured around the idea of grabbing your attention with an outrageous headline, and reporting half-facts.
Recently, they both published articles that are incredibly similar. Buzzfeed News Media Editor, Craig Silverman, decided to follow the rabbit hole down and found out something quite fascinating about these two supposedly opposite sites.
