It appears as if Elle Woods inspired president Trump's speech for Liberty University's commencement ceremony.

On May 13, the titular host of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” noticed that Trump's speech sounded, like, totally familiar. His gut was right.

Who would've thought Donald Trump and Elle Woods would ever be somehow synonymous with each other? The president's speech seemed to be lifted from the lips of the ebullient law student from the movie "Legally Blonde."

In his commencement speech, Trump said, "As long as you have pride in your beliefs, courage in your convictions and faith in your god, then you will not fail ... Most importantly, you have to do what you love."

In Elle Woods's graduation speech, she said, "It is with passion, courage of conviction and strong sense of self that we take our next steps into the world … You must always have faith in people, and most importantly you must always have faith in yourself."

Not exactly verbatim, but Fallon pointed out that both speeches were still very similar.
