It looks like Donald Trump Jr. is following in his father’s footsteps by using Twitter as a weapon to provoke.
The son of the former Celebrity Apprentice host took to the social media platform do dole out his thoughts on the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault allegation scandal that has rocked Hollywood. One of his main targets is liberal, Academy Award winning filmmaker and frequent Weinstein collaborator, Michael Moore.
Moore has been a vocal adversary of the Trump empire and recently took the team to task asking if they provided shelter at West Palm's Mar-a-logo palace during Hurricane Irma.
Like a warrior, in retort D.J tried to take Moore and Weinstein to the streets.
Junior commented on the sexual allegations and Moore's past support of Weinstein. No doubt he wanted to express his disapproval of Moore's past relations and support of the movie mogul. Immediately Twitter and well, everybody had a few things to say to Trump #2.
I know you are trying to do the "this tweet hasn't aged well" thing and it's sweet that you want to try, but that's not how it works.— X Soviet (@XSovietNews) October 8, 2017
same thing your pops said bout ivanka— Frederick Douglass (@gettinnoticedmo) October 8, 2017
Ouch! That is all definitely claws out and gloves OFF!
But then things got real...
That is definitely awkward.
Likely he hadn't experienced one of Weinstein's sexual advances.— X Soviet (@XSovietNews) October 8, 2017
It’s quite something watching the idiot son of a serial sexual abuser trying to have the upper hand.— Emma Kennedy (@EmmaKennedy) October 8, 2017
Trump Jr's thoughts on the matter since then?
Michael Moore is unapologetically outspoken and has stepped in it more than a few times, and Harvey has some serious issues arising for sure.
But, Donnie the sequel, you should really heed the warning of : "People in glass houses," before you throw out those two cents. Just a thought.
