Besides sexual harassment, white-washing is one of Hollywood's biggest problems. From Emma Stone in 'Aloha' to Tilda Swinton in 'Doctor Strange' Disney's controversial casting of the live action of 'Aladdin.' Well it looks like "Hollywood" and in particular "Disney" may have gotten one right.
This week, after an exhaustive search Disney found the lead to play 'Mulan' in their live studio version of 'Mualn.' And... she's ASIAN!!
The actress who won the coveted part is Chinese actress, Liu Yifei.
In Liu, Disney found the complete package. Nicknamed "Fairy Sister," --how Disney fitting--by the Chinese public for her pure and innocent looks and image, she has been one of the country's most popular stars.
To say the internet was thrilled would be an understatement.

I'm so happy and excited! Mulan has been my all time favorite movie since before I could speak! My mom says I used to smack the case over and over to indicate I wanted to watch it!🤣♥️— 리아 ♥️ #ENDviolence (@AluoraRen) December 1, 2017
