You may know billionaire Mark Cuban from the widely popular television show Shark Tank.He is also the outspoken owner of the Dallas Mavericks and a self-made billionaire. You can also now place Cuban in the Billionaires Against Donald Trump column. Last week, billionaire and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg took Trump to task in an address he gave at the Democratic National Convention. While Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine were in Pittsburgh, PA, this weekend, Cuban took to the podium to introduce the candidates. Cuban, never one for dressing up when he doesn't have to, wore a gray T-shirt featuring the face of Batman and the quote "I got this." He also talked a great deal about businesses in the city and state that he has already invested in, both during and outside of Shark Tank.
What followed was a strong supportive endorsement of the historical first female presidential candidate and a vicious takedown of her Republican opponent. Among the many hurled barbs, Cuban said:
You know what we call a person like that, you know, the screamers, the yellers, the people who try to intimidate you? You know what we call a person like that in Pittsburgh? A jag-off. Is there any bigger jag-off in the world than Donald Trump?
Cuban went on from there to say:
Initially, I really hoped he would be something different, that as a businessperson, I thought there was an opportunity there. But then he went off the reservation and went bats--- crazy.
Poor Trump! He's losing sober-minded, actual self-made billionaires by the minute! And what better comparison could you have between two incredibly rich entrepreneurs? Mark is a cast member of a show that exists to help hopeful entrepreneurs realize their dreams with investments from those who realized their dreams before them. Trump, meanwhile, ran a show that allowed him to proudly fire contestants on the air. We're crossing our fingers that the other Shark Tank millionaires and billionaires jump on the anti-Trump bandwagon. As we all know, five sharks are far stronger than one.
