Who knew animal selfies could make the world right again?

Every time you turn on the news, it seems like something else is wrong. Between the election drama, foreign affairs, and local news, it's seems like everything is a lose-lose situation no matter where you look. But the key is to find something so pure, innocent, and joyous that not even Donald Trump can ruin it. I present you with: animal selfies.

The savior of 2016 is Allan Dixon. He spends his time traveling the world, bonding with cute animals, and taking selfies with them! He's been to Australia, Ireland, and even to the ocean depths.

Dixon might look super confident in these pictures, but he's very cautious with the animals. He gave Bored Panda the lowdown on how to approach animals for a picture:
Travelers should be careful as not to upset or provoke the animal when they're trying to take the photo. Gain the animal's trust in a calm and relaxed manner, and the results will be golden!
Dixon is certainly right about that. Look at these pictures!

It looks like PhotoShop, but the joy on Dixon's face is so real! Look at the little kangaroos and birds!

Plus, he gets to travel. I'm actually not seeing the bad part of this gig. The one negative to the job? Getting super dirty. Dixon said:
What the photos don't show is the amount of dirt that ends up on my clothes because of being on the ground.
I think some dirt is a small price to pay to play with a llama.
