This is actually true. But Trump neglected to say that most of the bills weren't very impactful. In fact, many of the "very important" bills were just rolled back Obama regulations that Republicans were able to undo using the arcane Congressional Review Act, which allows lawmakers to undo regulations within 60 legislative days of finalization.
Trump promised that his big legislative pieces were yet to come, including bills on health care, taxes, and infrastructure.
5. That the event was not a campaign rally.
Billed as a "Make America Great Again" rally, it was clearly a bragging opportunity meant to drum up support for a 2020 reelection bid, and was even funded by campaign contributions.
